11th Annual Run for the Dry Forest

Fri. 10/27:
If you are interested in volunteering, we need help setting-up the day before the race between 9-2 pm. Time is flexible if you can only stay for part of the time. Contact eparsons@hawaii.edu

 

This year’s featured native plant: Ho’awa (Pittosporum hosmeri)

RACE EVENTS:
> 7:45 am [10K RUN]
A challenging trail running experience,
featuring a 1,200 foot elevation gain in the
first 3 miles, loose rocky footing and narrow
winding trails.

> 8:00 am [5k WALK/RUN]
Includes stretches of dirt, coarse rock, and
paved roads. Suitable for most people, including families--
strollers welcome.
